We had to take our chances - Westley

Stevenage manager Graham Westley was left to regret not converting first-half dominance into a win as his side's unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-0 defeat at Torquay. Danny Stevens fired in a 46th-minute goal and engineered a late second for Jake Robinson. Chris Zebroski missed a 68th-minute penalty after being fouled in the box by Mark Roberts, who was sent off. Westley said: "I thought in the first half we were in control of the game, had the better chances and were the dominant force. "Obviously the early goal in the second half was a kick that we didn`t expect and we didn't respond well to it. There was a lot of shock throughout the team. "In a situation of adversity away from home we didn't respond in the right way which is unusual for us but it happened. It's a thing you don't want away from home. "We can analyse and over-analyse why you don't get a response, but sometimes it's just not your day is it?"
