Ashton blow for Boro

Stevenage captain Jon Ashton is set to miss the home game against Rotherham.

The centre-half was carrying a knee injury as he prepared for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Leyton Orient and, after feeling it in the warm-up, he was withdrawn from the starting line-up.

Ashton was replaced by Roarie Deacon, but he will also be missing against the Millers due to a one-match ban after he was sent off during the first half of Boro's 3-2 win.

Defenders Ben Chorley (calf) and David Gray (knee) remain on the sidelines along with forward Darius Charles (ankle).

Rotherham have a number of selection issues.

Defender Kari Arnason is away trying to earn the Millers representation at the 2014 World Cup as Iceland take on Croatia in the play-offs this week so Claude Davis or Pablo Mills will fill his shoes.

Right-back Mark Bradley (groin) and midfielder Michael O'Connor (thigh) both missed Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Hartlepool and are rated 50/50 for the visit to Broadhall Way.

Boss Steve Evans made the maximum five changes for the clash at Victoria Park and should recall some of his big guns, with the likes of Alex Revell and Ben Pringle set to return.
