Adam Marriott should be involved for Stevenage

Stevenage interim boss Darren Sarll says he will be "very disappointed or surprised" if Adam Marriott is not involved against Exeter on Saturday.

Striker Marriott made his comeback from a calf problem with 10 minutes against Carlisle last weekend and followed that with a goal in a 90-minute run-out for the reserves in midweek.

"I think this been probably Adam's best week this season," Sarll told Boro's website.

Defender Dave McAllister "isn't too far off" a return following a knee injury, but Saturday's game comes too soon.

Exeter could be boosted by the return to contention of both David Noble and Christian Ribeiro as they chase their first win in five matches.

Midfielder Noble has been sidelined since sustaining a calf injury in the FA Cup defeat at Liverpool last month but has returned to full training and could feature.

Defender Ribeiro was forced out of the recent defeat at York after a clash of heads and has missed the last two games due to the effects of concussion, but he is also expected to be included in the squad.

Veteran striker Clinton Morrison and midfielder Jake Taylor are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
