Stevenage ready to Shroot Robin Shroot and Jon Ashton are expected to be fit for Stevenage when they host Crewe. Midfielder Shroot suffered a shin injury when he scored Boro's first goal in Sunday's 2-1 win at Coventry but the problem is not serious. Defender Ashton was also forced off at half-time with a nasty cut to the head but it is not expected to keep him out. On-loan Leeds winger Robbie Rogers could miss out again after a hamstring injury sidelined him last weekend. Striker Marcus Haber climbed off the bench to head Stevenage's winner at the Ricoh Arena so he could regain his place in the starting line-up. Unbeaten Boro are yet to win at home having drawn both games so far. Crewe have limited attacking options. On-loan Manchester City striker Harry Bunn could miss the rest of the season after suffering serious knee ligament damage during last weekend's stalemate with Tranmere. Mathias Pogba has stepped up his rehabilitation from a less serious knee problem, but the match is expected to come too soon for him, with fellow forward Michael West (Achilles) at a similar level of fitness. It leaves Max Clayton and Ajay Leitch-Smith as Davis' only out-and-out forwards, although on-loan Arsenal youngster Chuks Aneke provides another option to introduce into the forward line. Utility man Matt Tootle is pushing for a start having returned from hip and groin complaints to appear as a substitute against Rovers. Alan Martin will remain between the posts as experienced gloveman Steve Phillips continues to recover from knee surgery.
