Stevenage performance disappoints Westley

Stevenage manager Graham Westley admitted his side's performance was not good enough in the 3-0 defeat to Bury. Goals from Andy Bishop, Efe Sodje and Ryan Lowe condemned Boro to defeat, meaning they are now four games without a win in all competitions. "It's not a pretty result but it's the first time it has happened this season," said Westley. "I've said to the players that if someone had said to me that after getting promoted, the first time that would happen would be after 27 games, I wouldn't have believed them. "I think they've done incredibly well this season but we made mistakes and it was a bad night. They got some soft goals and it wouldn't go in for us at the other end. "Once we got a grip on the game and settled ourselves down, we carved out some good chances but we couldn't get back into it."
