O'Shea set for Boro bow

Stevenage look set to hand a debut to James O'Shea for the visit of league leaders Chesterfield. The winger has joined Boro on a one-month loan deal from Birmingham and could go straight into Graham Westley's side. Luke Foster is back in the squad after a one-match ban following his red card at Burton and he could be handed an instant recall. Westley has no fresh injury concerns to deal with, but Joel Byrom (fractured eye socket), Lee Boylan, Chris Beardsley and Darren Murphy are all long-term absentees and not expected to be available any time soon. Stevenage have settled into life into the Football League in fine fashion and welcome the Spireites to Broadhall Way on a run of just one defeat in the last seven games.
