Murphy in the mix

Stevenage boss Graham Westley could recall Darren Murphy to his squad for the trip to Torquay. The midfielder has only made one appearance for Boro this season after dislocating his shoulder against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup in August. He then broke his leg on his comeback for the reserves in September. However, he has now fought his way back to fitness, and after playing 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek is available for selection but if picked is likely to start on the bench. Striker Craig Reid also impressed for the reserves alongside Murphy, netting four goals, and that form could earn him a starting place alongside Byron Harrison who scored twice in Saturday's 4-0 win over Cheltenham on his return to the first XI. Westley is unlikely to make many changes, though, after an impressive performance against the Robins which left his side just three points off a League Two play-off spot.
