Holroyd returns for Town test

Stevenage manager Graham Westley welcomes back Chris Holroyd for the visit of Shrewsbury. On-loan striker Holroyd missed the FA Cup stalemate with MK Dons after parent-club Brighton refused permission for him to play, but he will return to the starting line-up to partner Ben May up front after scoring five goals since his arrival at Broadhall Way. Stacy Long is likely to drop to the bench to make way for Holroyd with Westley reverting to his preferred formation of 4-4-2. Former Tottenham striker Terry Dixon has been training with Stevenage for a month now as he bids to return to full fitness following a dislocated knee. He made his debut against MK Dons, coming on as a substitute for the last 10 minutes which is likely to see him keep his place within the squad.
