Holroyd back for Boro

Stevenage's leading scorer Chris Holroyd will return to the squad for the home game with Northampton. Striker Holroyd, who has six goals to his name so far this season, was ineligible for Boro's last match - the 2-0 FA Cup win over AFC Wimbledon on November 27 - due to the terms of his loan from Brighton. On-loan Watford midfielder Josh Walker made his debut in the victory over the Dons and after getting on the scoresheet should retain his place. Injury-prone striker Ben May could return after being rested for the cup game and midfielder David Bridges will be pushing for a start after being dropped to the bench in the last match. Lee Boylan (calf) and Darren Murphy (ankle) remain absent and are not expected to be back before the new year.
