Gigg Lane falls victim to big freeze
The League Two encounter between Bury and Stevenage has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at Gigg Lane.
The club called an inspection for Friday morning when it was decided the playing surface was unsuitable due to freezing overnight temperatures and a forecast which shows little sign of getting any warmer over the next 24 hours.
No new date for the fixture has yet been announced.
