Day urges Stevenage to take opportunity

Stevenage goalkeeper Chris Day believes the upcoming run of three games in eight days is the perfect opportunity for his side to climb the League Two table. Stevenage will face three fellow bottom-half teams over the period and Day believes his side have a decent chance of picking up some much-needed points. "We've been decent away from home without being spectacular but we've got three games in a calendar week so nine points are up for grabs," he told the Stevenage Comet. "Last season and the season before something we did really well was racking up big points when the opportunity was there. "If we can hit a bit of form for a week and take nine points that could be the best part of a month's work so it'll be a big week for us."
