Byrom banking on Bees comeback

02 January 2011 14:30
Joel Byrom could make his first appearance in over four months when Stevenage entertain managerless Barnet, with boss Graham Westley boasting no new injury or suspension problems. Byrom has been laid low for most of the season thanks to an eye and then foot problem he but made his return in the 1-0 New Year`s Day defeat at Gillingham as an unused substitute. The 24-year-old will now be hoping the extra two days will be enough time to convince boss Westley to give him some time on the pitch. Defender Darius Charles sits out the second game of a three-match ban but Darren Murphy (ankle) and Lee Boylan (calf) could return to the squad after narrowly missing out against the Bees.
