Borough waiting on Griffin

Stevenage are hoping to have striker Charlie Griffin back in their line-up for the visit of Crewe. Griffin was substituted in the first half of Boro's League Two draw with Aldershot last weekend due to concussion. He missed the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Brentford and will be assessed ahead of the game with the Railwaymen. Fellow striker Chris Beardsley is sidelined with a dislocated shoulder - the same injury that will also prevent midfielder Darren Murphy from taking part. Despite suffering cup defeats to Portsmouth and Brentford, Boro are unbeaten in the league at home this season ahead of Crewe`s visit. In their last home outing, Graham Westley's side overcame Stockport 3-1 thanks to two goals from Griffin and a Michael Bostwick strike.
