McMillan banned for Warriors

Stenhousemuir have skipper Ross McMillan suspended for their first league meeting with Dunfermline at Ochilview since 1986.

The Warriors also have Kevin McKinlay (back), David Rowson (hamstring), Ross Brash (hamstring) and Bryan Hodge (ankle) out injured, but there was some good news for manager Martyn Corrigan as Nicky Devlin is available after a ban.

Corrigan said: "As well as our injuries we have been shooting ourselves in the foot with four red cards in five games.

"We have won twice with only 10 men but against a side as strong as Dunfermline we will have our best chance if we keep 11 men on the park."

The Pars miss Chris Kane through suspension as they look to bounce back from their home league defeat at the hands of Arbroath and their Ramsdens Cup exit to Raith.

Former Dundee United striker Robert Thomson is included as a trialist and Allan Smith could be involved for the first time this season after a knee injury.

East End Park manager Jim Jefferies said: "Stenhousemuir have a number of experienced players in their ranks and if we had more experience, particularly in attack, then I reckon we could have won those games.

"The players are learning all the time and will look to do well at Ochilview."
