Warriors head into battle without three key players
Stenhousemuir welcome Cowdenbeath to Ochilview and Warriors goalkeeper Jamie Barclay remains out with a thigh problem.
Allan Smith is also absent with a groin injury while Alan Cook will sit it out through suspension.
Manager Brown Ferguson is hoping to end a frustrating period, he said: "Our last game with Airdrie ended with us scoring a last-minute winner. We were hoping to take the positive effect of that into the game with Albion Rovers but that was postponed which was disappointing."
"We need to beat Cowdenbeath to get closer to the targets we have set ourselves as well as moving and away from issues at the bottom of the table."
The Blue Brazil could have Grant Adam back in goal after being out for two games through illness and Liam Callaghan looks set to return after injury. However, Kenny Adamson is a doubt and Kyle Miller's foot injury keeps him out.
Kieran Gibbons is suspended after being dismissed in the 4-1 defeat from Forfar in midweek with manager Colin Nish saying: "We have slipped back the way in terms of our performances and the way that we are losing goals.
"We had the same issues at the start of the season but we sorted them then and had a positive end to 2015. We will sort them again."
