Brown Ferguson looks for Stenhousemuir response after cup defeat
Stenhousemuir are without Ciaran Summers who has a knee injury when they welcome Albion Rovers to Ochilview with Allan Smith also missing due to a hip problem.
Alan Cook is free to play however, with his suspension following his dismissal in last weekend's shock Scottish Cup defeat from East Kilbride on hold until the competition starts again next season.
Manger Brown Ferguson is looking for his men to bounce back as he explained: "It was a horrible day weather-wise and whilst the players worked hard East Kilbride handled the conditions better than us.
"We were on a good run in the league before that and we need to return to that form."
Albion Rovers player-manager Darren Young is without suspended defender Kyle Turnbull against Stenhousemuir at Cliftonhill.
They may be short on options up front however, with John Gemmell out with an ankle injury, and Andrew Barrowman also a doubt.
The manager said: "Our last game was against Morton in the Scottish Cup a fortnight ago. We lost 2-0 but we played well in dreadful conditions and will look to build on that performance. We have had a bounce game to keep us ticking over but you cannot beat the real thing
"Stenhousemuir will be keen to bounce back from their defeat last weekend and we need to be ready for that."
