The first ever match for the club was played on Handson’s Field which is the location of the present Newflame Stadium. The club has enjoyed continuous use of the ground in its’ 105 year long existence. Evidence has recently come to light that the site staged football in the early seventies making it a candidate for the world’s oldest football ground.
