Spirit impresses Mason

St Mirren midfielder Gary Mason thinks the team spirit within the squad will help the Buddies thrive this season.
The 27-year-old moved to Love Street from Dunfermline earlier this summer and joins fellow new boys Mark Howard, Will Haining and Craig Dargo at the club.
Mason told the Paisley Express: "It can take a while to find your feet when you're a new arrival at a club but I suppose it did make a difference that four of us arrived together.
"You've still got to get to know your team-mates but you're not the new guy on his own, which is nice. I think we've all settled in really quickly and the week away in Italy helped us to get to know each other.
"There's a great spirit in the team and you definitely need that. I think we'll keep getting stronger and stronger."
