Shuggy signs for Partick

Legendary Saints midfielder Hugh Murray has wasted no time in finding himself a new club after agreeing a deal with first division Partick Thistle.

Shuggy has agreed a one year deal at Firhill with the option of another season on top of that. It's a good move for both parties as Murray is still more than capable of performing in the first division, while getting a club in Glasgow means he doesn't have to uproot his family.

Shuggy had spent his entire career at Saints, making 468 appearances over a 15 year period. The last of those came 10 days ago when he received an emotional send off from the Paisley faithful.
