More misery for Molloy

St Mirren midfielder Craig Molloy could be sidelined until October after suffering another injury setback.

The 21-year-old broke a bone in his right foot against Hibs in April - the same bone he broke during a reserve team game in December, which led to him being out of action for three months.

The injury has not healed as had been hoped so Molloy has been told he has no option but to undergo surgery.

"To say I'm devastated is an understatement," he told the Paisley Express. "The last eight months or so have been a nightmare.

"I had to get the operation because the bone is not healing properly and I'll be on crutches for several weeks. I'm so, so disappointed."
