Midfielders face Buddies exits

St Mirren duo Ryan McCay and Craig Molloy have been told by manager Gus MacPherson that they can leave the SPL club.

The pair's current contracts run out next summer and MacPherson says that neither McCay nor Molloy will be offered fresh terms.

He told the club's official website: "We've spoken with Ryan and Craig to let them know that we won't be looking to extend their contracts at the end of this season.

"I said last week that we had made it known to other clubs that Craig is available; it is now the same case for Ryan.

"Both players are under contract until the end of this season, but if they wish to get themselves sorted with another club during the January transfer window, we certainly won't stand in their way."
