Mehmet eager to improve

St Mirren striker Billy Mehmet is determined to try and increase his goals return in the second half of the SPL season.
The 26-year-old has found the net 11 times this season, but only two of those goals have come in the league and Mehmet is eager to do better for the Saints.
He told the Paisley Daily Express: "I've scored a lot more goals in the cup than I have in the league this season.
"But I wouldn't say my performances in the cup competitions have been any better than the ones in the SPL.
"Strikers do get judged on their goal tally and I want to get as many as I can between now and the end of the season, starting on Saturday."
