McLean out for six weeks
Published: 26 Jan 2012 - 22:52:29
Saints have been dealt a huge blow after it emerged young midfielder Kenny McLean has broken his collar bone. The 20-year-old is expected to be out of action for six weeks.
McLean has been in superb form this season, scoring three goals and attracting interest from the likes of Wolves and Burnley. He had been linked with a move away from the club in january but the injury, picked up during training day, puts an end to that.
The youngster will be a huge loss over the next couple of months but the only positive is we have plenty of potential replacements with the likes of Hugh Murray, Steven Thomson, Gary Teale and Aaron Mooy all waiting in the wings.
Get well soon Kenny!
