MacPherson left fuming

St Mirren boss Gus MacPherson believes referee Crawford Allan was to blame for his side's weekend defeat at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
MacPherson could not believe Inverness defender David Proctor was not even booked for a first-half lunge on Billy Mehmet, while the Buddies were later reduced to ten men when Will Haining was dismissed for two yellow cards.
MacPherson said: "I actually like this referee. He's one you can talk to.
"I know the younger ones need experience but it's just annoying the way the teams near the bottom usually have to put up with it.
"But there's no point in saying anything to him. Once the decision is made it's never going to change."
