MacPherson hopes to improve

St Mirren boss Gus MacPherson has urged his players to learn the lessons of a difficult season which saw the club almost suffer relegation from the SPL.
The Buddies avoided the drop in goal difference, having won only nine league games out of 38 this season.
MacPherson told the Paisley Daily Express: "As a club, we have to learn from our experience because we don't want to be in this situation every season.
"We want to be pushing forward and we want to improve and we have to look to do that.
"This is the level you want to compete at. You learn so much about yourself and you learn even more about your players.
"You can only talk to players so much, then it's up to them when they take to the pitch."
