Harte handed Buddies chance

Republic of Ireland left-back Ian Harte has joined St Mirren on a short-term contract running until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old was a free agent after being released by Blackpool and has opted to head north of the border.
He told the Daily Record: "Joining St Mirren gives me a chance to put myself back on the radar. We'll see what happens from here.
"I've only just turned 31, so I don't feel as if I'm past it or anything like that. I've kept myself in good shape and just need a chance to show what I can do."
Harte made his name with Leeds United, before enjoying a spell in Sapnish football with Levante.
He headed back to England to join Sunderland in the summer of 2007, but made just eight appearances for the Black Cats before leaving the club a year later.
