Dorman earns Wales call-up

St Mirren midfielder Andy Dorman has been rewarded with a call-up to John Toshack's Wales squad ahead of the weekend clash against Scotland.

Toshack has a selection headache after being hit by a number of withdrawals, including Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy, and he has now called the in-form Dorman into his set-up.

Dorman was born in England but educated in Wales and a new ruling states that a player can represent any home nation so long as they have been educated in the said country for a minimum of five years.

He could come up against team-mate Paul Gallacher, who has been drafted in because of an injury sustained by Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon.
