Dorman cool about bench role

St Mirren midfielder Andy Dorman is content to bide his time to try and force his way back into his club's starting eleven.

The 26-year-old has been left on the bench for the Buddies' last two fixtures, but has no complaints over that situation.

Dorman told the Paisley Daily Express: "We've got a good squad here and, although you want to play in all of the games, you sometimes have to accept your time on the bench.

"I'll just have to keep working hard in the reserves and in training.

"Hugh Murray has come in and he's done really well, so I can't have any complaints at the moment.

"I picked up an injury in pre-season and that didn't help. I've not been able to score as many goals as I would have liked this season."
