Cup tie details confirmed

Amid our disaster against Aberdeen yesterday you may have missed the fact that details of our upcoming League Cup and Scottish Cup ties have been revealed.

Brechin City's s 6-0 hammering of Bonnyrigg Rose yesterday means it is the second division side who will be coming to Paisley on December 1. It will be a tricky tie, especially with our current form - after all, Brechin posed the new Rangers a few problems on the opening day of the season.

Meanwhile, our League Cup semi-final against Celtic will take place at Hampden on Sunday, January 27. It will be shown live by BBC Scotland, which is why it has the rather odd kick-off time of 2.30pm.
