Barron backed by MacPherson

St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson has urged youngster David Barron to learn the lessons from his sending-off in the 1-1 draw at Aberdeen.
The 20-year-old was ordered off 13 minutes from time at Pittodrie, after being shown a second yellow card by referee Allan Crawford.
MacPherson commented: "It will be interesting to see the challenge for the first booking, because I think he clearly wins the ball.
"We have not seen it again, but we can have no complaints about the second. There was no malice or aggression, it was just daft.
"He is a young kid who has done exceptionally well coming into the team and played some big games for us, none more so than this, because he kept Sone Aluko reasonably quiet.
"He played against Aiden McGeady and kept him quiet, so he has done a really good job for us in that area of the park.
"This is another part of the learning curve for him in the professional game."
