We'll bounce back - McInnes

Published: 09 Feb 2010 - 15:19:09

Derek McInnes believes it will be "easy" to pick up his players following two consecutive cup disappointments. After losing the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden last Wednesday, the Saints were drummed out of the Active Nation Scottish Cup fifth round at home to Dundee United at the weekend. However, the Perth side's boss has no concerns about morale ahead of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League game at St Mirren."It`s an easy job to pick myself and the players up for this game," he told Press Association Sport. "It was disappointing to go out of both competitions but we lost to two very good sides."Dundee United are under pressures of their own to get trophies and I have to admit they were slightly better on the day than us although there were a couple of decisions that went against us."And it is no disgrace losing to the Scottish champions."
