Saints to tie up Morais deal

St Johnstone have put the finishing touches to the deal to sign former Hibernian and Inverness Caley Thistle winger Filipe Morais.

The 23-year-old spent time on loan with the Saints during the 2006-07 season and he is highly rated by current McDiarmid Park boss Derek McInnes.

He told the Press & Journal: "We lacked a wee bit of creativity last season and I think Felipe will give us it.

"I know him well, having played with him at Millwall and at Saints, so I know what he is capable of."
