McInnes swoops for Connolly

St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes snapped up the Bolton Wanderers teenager Mark Connolly on loan until the end of the season on transfer deadline day.
The 18-year-old central defender could make his debut for the club in the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden Park.
McInnes told the club's official website: "Mark comes very highly recommended by (former Bolton boss) Gary Megson and I've seen him in action on a couple of occasions myself.
"I've obviously been able to speak to Owen Coyle about him and he also rates Mark but feels he needs a bit more experience and I'm sure he'll be an asset to us for the remainder of the season."
