St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes remains keen to try and add to his McDiarmid Park squad with a busy few weeks ahead for his side.
McInnes recently missed out on the signing of former Rangers team-mate Craig Moore, but has other irons in the fire.
He told the club's official website: "We will have a minimum of nine games between now and the end of February and I may well need all the players at my disposal.
"I understand the frustration of some of the guys who have not been involved in recent games, but my first priority is to have everyone fit and ready for this club's matches.
"I can still loan players out after the transfer deadline passes, but I can't bring a loan player in, so my priority is having the right players at my disposal for our games."
