Saint Jackson on mend after scare

Striker Andy Jackson has been deemed fit enough to travel to St Johnstone's pre-season training base at Warwick despite an illness scare last week. The 21-year-old was taken to hospital for tests on Thursday with a suspected recurrence of a bowel complaint he first suffered in April 2008.
