Deuchar verdict boosts Saints

St Johnstone's in-form striker Kenny Deuchar will miss the weekend trip to Hibernian due to an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old found the net in a 5-1 mauling of Hibs a week ago, but suffered an injury in the closing stages of the McDiarmid Park romp.
Saints boss Derek McInnes told the Perthshire Advertiser: "Kenny was great against Hibs. He took responsibility as the senior striker and scored a textbook goal.
"I can see him scoring more the same and he helped bring the best out in Cillian Sheridan.
"It will be disappointing not to have him this weekend, but when he strained the ankle ligaments we feared it would be a long-term injury. So it could have been worse."
