St Mirren without injured duo against Alloa

St Mirren will look for their first home win when former manager Danny Lennon brings his Alloa side to Paisley.

However, they will have to do so without the injured Jason Naismith (knee) and Alan Gow (ankle).

Current boss Ian Murray said: "Last weekend at Hibs we showed that we are becoming a much more organised side and a side that can maintain that organisation for 90 minutes.

"That was the difference as we have played well for an hour in other games and then let things drop.

"It is still early days but we know that if we can win this game then we will end what started as a disappointing quarter on a high."

Jason Marr is available for Alloa after a suspension with Lennon planning changes after last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Livingston.

Lennon said: "I am looking forward to going back as I enjoyed my time there and we had success with a League Cup win. However this game is all about making sure that Alloa do well and bounce back after a disappointing outcome in our last game.

"St Mirren had a good result at Hibs last weekend and we know that if we are to do anything then we have to play with an intensity that was missing. I will pick a side that I believe can do that."
