Goalie Chris Smith has been loaned out to second division Stenhousemuir for the rest of the season, while Jason Naismith's loan at Cowdenbeath has been extended.

Smith hasn't played for the Saints first team since he returned to the club earlier in the season. He was brought in following the injury to Grant Adam and while his initial deal was extended to the summer, he hasn't been in the first team squad lately due to Adam's return to fitness. This latest move suggests his contract won't be extended.

Naismith spent the first half of the season on loan at Morton before joining Cowdenbeath a month ago. He has made only one sub appearance since joining Danny Lennon's old side, although did start their abandoned game with Partick Thistle. The extension should let the youngster get some more first team experience as he bids to get a new contract.
