Saints on international duty

Despite the international break two Buddies have been in action in the last few days, with Kenny McLean featuring for Scotland under-21s and Sander Puri playing for Estonia.

McLean was a sub for the under-21s as they beat Luxembourg at Greenhill Road last night, coming off the bench for the last 10 minutes or so. The young Scots won 3-0 - the ideal start to their qualifiers for the 2015 European Championships.

Puri - who has yet to play for Saints after signing a few days before the League Cup Final - started for Estonia against Holland on Friday. Tonight he was on the bench for his country but failed to get any game time against Andorra.

The winger is the first Saint to win a full international cap since Andy Dorman three years ago, athough he'd as good as left by the time he played for Wales. Ignoring him, you have to go all the way back to Paul Fenwick, who played for Canada in the late 1990s!
