Post-split fixtures announced

Saints will have at least one more meaningful game this season after they were handed a home game against Dundee to start their post-split fixtures announced.

Dundee are currently 13 points behind us with only 15 points to play for and will be relegated if they don't win at Greenhill Road on April 20. Even if they do we are still in a strong position as Dundee would probably have to win their other four games to have any chance - and even then we'd need to lose all ours.

Sounds simple, but it's worth noting that they have already beaten four of the five bottom six teams this season. As this is St Mirren we're tlaking about nothing can be taken for granted - hopefully we won't see a repeat of two years ago when things got rather close with Hamilton!

After the Dundee game Saints have a capital double header, going to Hibs and then Hearts. That's followed by our final home game against Aberdeen before we finish the season at Kilmarnock. It's our third trip to Rugby Park this campaign but has been forced on us as we'd end up with an uneven number of home and away games without it. Could be worse, we could have to go to Pittodrie again!

All the games have 3pm Saturday kick-offs, which is nice.
