Kelly goes to the Shire

Saints youngster Sean Kelly has been loaned to third division East Stirlingshire for a month in a bid to gain first team experience.

The young defender, who has yet to make his first team debut for the Buddies but has been on the bench a couple of times, is expected to make his Shire debut against zombie Rangers at Ibrox today.

The loan spell is initially for a month but could be extended if all goes well. Kelly will link up with former Saints boss John Coughlin at Ochilview as well as ex youngsters Paul Quin and Rhys Devlin.
