Ivan Sproule scored twice on his debut as Ross County cruised to a 4-1 win at St Mirren in the SPL on Saturday. County skipper Richard Brittain gave his side the lead with a fine 25-yard free-kick in the 22nd minute, but the Buddies drew level five minutes after the break through frontman Steven Thompson. Substitute Sam Morrow restored County's advantage on 67 and it was 3-1 moments later when Sproule volleyed home. Sproule then added his second of the game from close range to make it three goals in seven minutes for the visitors as they wrapped up the points. Full match report to follow
