Dillon was brought in after being released by Hull at the end of last season. He was signed to play for the under-20s but also to push for a first team slot. He made the bench a few times but didn't make it any further, partly because we have plenty of other young midfielders doing a fine job.
It's a shame it didn't work out as I saw Dillon playing in our pre-season friendly against Queen of the South and he looks pretty handy. Hopefully he gets himself fixed up with another club in the near future.
