Spartak to sign Bilyaletdinov from Everton

Russian nine-time champions Spartak Moscow have reached agreement with English Premier League side Everton to buy Russian international midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, the club announced Monday.

"Spartak have reached an agreement about Bilyaletdinov's transfer," it said.

"He is expected to sign the deal in the near future after undergoing a medical in Moscow."

Bilyaletdinov, who moved to Everton in 2009 from Lokomotiv Moscow, confirmed he would join Russia's most successful club after the medical for a fee believed to be according to media reports around 7million pounds.

"The clubs have already reached an agreement," the 26-year-old told Russian daily Sport Express.

"I will sign the contract after undergoing medical tests. But I'm not yet ready to say how long my contract will be."

Bilyaletdinov has won over 40 caps for his country and was a pivotal member of the side that reached the Euro 2008 semi-finals.
