Spain striker Alvaro Negredo is injured and will miss the world and European champions' remaining Euro 2012 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Scotland.
The Sevilla forward left Vicente del Bosque's squad on Wednesday after failing to recover fully from a left thigh problem suffered in the 0-0 Primera Liga draw with Atletico Madrid last Sunday.
Spain, already qualified for next year's Euro co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine, face Czech Republic on Friday and Scotland four days later.
