Spain coach Luis Aragones has denied claims from Fenerbahce that he has agreed to become the new manager of the Turkish club.
Fenerbahce announced on Wednesday that the 69-year-old coach had agreed a provisional two-year contract to take over at the end of Euro 2008.
However, the former Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Mallorca coach has denied that any agreement has been reached to replace Zico at the Sukru Saracoglu for next season.
"I don't understand it because Luis hasn't signed anything with anyone," he said in the build-up to Thursday's semi-final meeting with Russia.
A previous statement from Fenerbahce read: "Our club has made a two-year preliminary contract with Luis Aragones, who is currently the technical director of the Spain national team, to be our soccer coach in the new season."
