Spain coach Luis Aragones has backed his strikers to find their goal touch in Tuesday's Group D opener against Russia.
Fernando Torres and David Villa combined for more than 55 goals between them at club level for Liverpool and Valencia this season.
The pair have struggled to forge a successful partnership at international level, but Aragones is looking for his two main hitmen to fire Spain to a morale-boosting victory in Innsbruck.
"If we all work hard, there's no reason to think we'll lose," said the veteran coach.
"Villa and Torres are very quick and can score.
"The first game in any competition such as this is a very dangerous match.
"That does not mean we are willing to draw though, our hope is to win, although of course we know we have a difficult opponent in front of us.
"Their team plays well, they get a lot of players behind the ball and it's difficult to get through them."
