Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has leapt to the defence of club and international team-mate Iker Casillas after the goalkeeper was at fault for one of Saudi Arabia's goals in the Spain's 3-2 friendly win on Saturday.
Casillas has not been at his best for Real Madrid this year and his place in the side has come under scrutiny of late, especially considering the brilliant form of Barcelona's Victor Valdes.
"Iker is the same as ever - he is very focused and very keen to repeat the success he enjoyed at the European Championship," said Alonso.
