Southport sign defender Williams

Southport have signed Accrington Stanley defender Robbie Williams.The 31-year-old was suspended for eight months in 2009 for betting on Bury to beat Accrington when he was at Stanley. He won the Conference with the Crown Ground outfit in 2006 and Sandgrounders boss Liam Watson told the club website: "Robbie has plenty of experience. "He adds tremendously to the squad and I am delighted Robbie has decided to sign for us. He has the qualities we require." .... read more
