Southend United manager Steve Tilson believes that his side have hit form at just the right time in the League One season.
The Shrimpers are unbeaten in their last nine games and secured a crucial 1-0 home win over Walsall at the weekend.
Tilson told the club's official website: "I thought we played some fantastic football in the first half, it was some of the best stuff we have played this season.
"On another day we could have three or four goals, as we created some decent chances. It was tougher in the second half.
"The main thing is to win though and 1-0 will do me all day long.
"We are in-form and if we can carry that into the final six games, we will make the play-offs."
